North Vernon
Grace Helen Tempest, 91, of North Vernon, died at 11:02 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, at Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour.
Survivors include her sons, Donald Tempest of North Vernon and Patrick Tempest of Plainview, Texas; sister, Donna Boyett of Jacksonville, Florida; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Albert Tempest on Jul. 11, 2002.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremations Services in North Vernon with the Rev. Richard Burcham officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.
Memorials may be made in honor of Mrs. Tempest to Zion Baptist Church.
