Inspirational music presented during the 1 6th annual Gospel Musical brought the audience of more than 100 to its feet Sunday at Faith Hope and Love Church of God In Christ, Elizabethtown.
Interspersed with a variety of music were messages shared by members of the local African American Pastors Alliance, which presented the event.
The free gathering has been described as part old-time revival, part social studies recap and part bonding experience for the area minority community. It draws people from various backgrounds and churches. The pastors group originally launched the musical as a way of building bridges between area churches.
