William Philpot, 74, of North Vernon, died at 1 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 2016, at his residence.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. The Rev. John Willis will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Jessie Philpot; a daughter, Vanessa Philpot; and two brothers, Frank Philpot of North Vernon and Jessie James Philpot of Knox.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the family for funeral expenses.
