Carolyn Sue (Wasson) Bates, 67, Nasvhille, died at 11:40 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 2017, surrounded by family at her home.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Paul E. Bates of Nashville; two daughters, Linda (Rodney) Margison of Bloomington and Loretta (James) Fox of Brown County; one son, Paul E. (Melissa Law) Bates Jr.,of Columbus; a brother, Walker (Rita) Wasson, of Winchester; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and cherished sisters- and brothers-in-law.
She was preceded in death by a child lost before birth.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Walker Funeral Home, 248 E. South St., Winchester, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. until the start of the funeral Saturday, also at Walker Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service in the Bates family plot at Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester.
