The Jennings County Sheriff’s Department participated in the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute’s Operation Pull Over during the Super Bowl weekend in February and made arrests ranging from possession of dangerous drugs and paraphernalia, to criminal misdemeanors and misdemeanor driving under the influence.
The department conducted seven seat belt patrols and officers issued 21 written citations and 66 warnings, according to a sheriff’s department news release.
The next Operation Pull Over Blitz is March 3 to 26, and DUI enforcement patrols will be conducted, too.
