Irwin R. Miller, 98, of Columbus, passed from this life at 8:50 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Silver Oaks Health Campus.
Mr. Miller retired from First National Bank. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and Columbus Free Methodist Church. He enjoyed bowling.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver, & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Paul Castle officiating. Family and friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Mr. Miller was born May 15, 1918, in Indianapolis, the son of Henry E. and Emma C.E. Kopper Miller. He married Dorothy V. Hughes on June 8, 1940. She preceded him in death on May 15, 1999.
Survivors include his son, Randy D. Miller of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and two brothers, Alfred A. and Wilbert F. Miller.
