Faurecia announces new plant for Fort Wayne

Faurecia Clean Mobility, based in Columbus, announced the company plans to open a new production facility in Fort Wayne.

The company will invest $4 million to begin operations in a 137,500-square-foot facility that will provide 100 new jobs in the Fort Wayne area, the company announced Thursday.

Faurecia employs about 1,800 people at three locations in Columbus. The company said it will begin hiring for a variety of engineering and production positions in the fall for the Fort Wayne plant.
