The state deadline to file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is today.
Students who wish to qualify for state financial aid for the 2017-2018 academic year must file no later than today.
FAFSA filing opened Oct. 1 and uses 2015 IRS 1040 tax returns, W-2 forms and other 2015 income and benefits information. State aid includes grants, scholarships, loans and work-study opportunities.
