An Ohio National Guard member died while conducting land navigation training at Camp Atterbury.
Capt. Brian A. Stillman, 43, of Norton, Ohio, collapsed shortly after 12:30 p.m. Friday, a release from the Ohio National Guard said.
Efforts to revive Stillman were unsuccessful. The cause of his death is under investigation, and no further details are available at this time, guard members said.
Stillman was a 19-year member of the Ohio Army National Guard and an operations officer for the 2nd Battalion, 174th Air Defense Artillery Brigade. He is survived by his wife and two children.
