Marion Allen “Dino” Kirkland, 59, of Edinburgh, passed away March 12, 2017, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. Born August 6, 1957, in Anchorage, Alaska, he was the son of Hilton T. and Delia Cowan Kirkland.
He is survived by his mother, Delia Kirkland of Central, South Carolina; daughters, Rebecca (Eric) Bridges of Edinburgh and Kelli Adams of Trafalgar; grandchildren, Gracelyn Bridges, Adelyn Bridges, Ava Bridges, Ellarie Bridges, Corey Tharp and Cadence Moore; a brother, Randy Kirkland of Central, South Carolina; a sister, Rhonda (Steve) Clark of Central, South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; brothers, Larry Kirkland, Kenneth Kirkland and Ronald Kirkland; and a nephew, Cory Kirkland.
He was an avid sports fan and a free-spirited traveler.
Funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 16, at Grace Tabernacle Church in Edinburgh, by the Rev. Terry England. Calling will be from noon until time of service at the church. It was Mr. Kirkland’s wish to be cremated after the service.
Arrangements were made by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.
