Paul E. Mitchell, 70, of Bloomfield, Indiana, died at 10:55 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at home, surrounded by his family.
Mr. Mitchell was born in Scottsburg, Indiana, January 18, 1947, to the late Virgil and Wilma Terrell Mitchell.
Survivors include his son, Virgil (Patty) Mitchell of Bloomfield; daughter, Robin Anduha of North Vernon; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Shelton of Columbus, Mary Frazier of Phoenix, Arizona and Anna (Larry) Young-Neal of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
The funeral service will be conducted at 12 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2017, at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Richard Anderson officiating. Calling will be from 10:30 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
