Local man arrested, accused of threatening gas station customers with chain saw

Columbus police arrested a local man who was accused of threatening customers with a chain saw in a gas station parking lot.

Ian A. Walker, 32, 9302 W. Evergreen Drive, was arrested on charges of felony intimidation with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor disorderly conduct at 8:40 p.m. Friday, said Lt. Matt Harris, Columbus Police Department spokesman.

Police were sent to a gas station in the 1600 block of Central Avenue about Walker, who was accused of threatening customers with the chain saw and then walking toward an employee while revving the chainsaw motor, Harris said.

He is being held without bond at the jail, jail officials said.
