Wayne Lewis Shrader, 45, of Columbus, died Saturday March 18, 2017 of a sudden heart attack.

He was employed at Thrive Alliance and Rescare.

Born Nov. 9, 1971, in Rushville, Wayne was the son of Jack Eugene Shrader Sr. and Sandra Adams Shrader Everett. He married Rikki Bendine Jackson (Shrader) Nov. 19, 2004, and she survives.

Other survivors include his mother and step-father, Sandra (Linwood) Everett Jr.; children, Gage Lewis and Blayne Madison Shrader; father- and mother-in-law, Mart Madison and Tracy Elizabeth Jackson; brother-in-law, Martin Nathaniel Jackson; sister-in-law, Brea Nicole Jackson; a brother, Jack Eugene Jr. (Heather Hamilton) Shrader; a sister, Rebecca “Becki” (Joe ) Shrader Davenport; and nieces and nephews, Cassandra Dawn Davenport, Megan Maurine Shrader, Evan Eugene Shrader, Lakaylie Bevliayne Jackson, Jordan Nathaniel Jackson, Xaviier Daniel Hernandez, Emanuel Jackson Hernandez and Korbin Malachi Simons.

Wayne loved spending time with his family which included hunting, fishing and camping. His family was proud that he was an organ donor.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Pastor Steven Millon officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hawcreek Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to a memorial fund set up at Fifth Third Bank for Wayne’s children, Gage and Blayne.

Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Jack Eugene Shrader Sr. and a nephew, Joseph “Joey” Charles Davenport III.
