Elbert Edwards, 70, of Commiskey, died at 3:08 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2017, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Edwards of Commiskey; son, Charles (Fonda) Edwards of Commiskey; daughter, Stella (David) Hyatt of North Vernon; brother, Donald (Ann) Edwards of Versailles; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service for Mr. Edwards will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Jack Hatton officiating. Family and friends may call from noon until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery in Jennings County with military graveside rites.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
