S. Bernard Durbin Jr., 79, of Bedford, died Friday, March 24, 2017, at his home.
Survivors include his daughters, Barbara (Joe) Hendrix of Franklin and Connie (Steve) Kendall of Bellefontaine, Ohio; sons, Anthony (Velvet) Durbin of Sellersburg, Eddie (Teresa) Durbin of Knifley, Kentucky, David (Debbie) Durbin of Salem and Paul (Ronda) Durbin of Trafalgar; sister, Kathy Von Allman of Louisville; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Wilma; one grandson; and two great-grandsons.
A military service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
Memorials can be made through the funeral home to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or to the American Heart Association. Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre in Seymour has been entrusted with the arrangements.
