Corinne R. Haines, the loving wife of David Haines, mother of Jan Luken (Keith) and devoted grandmother of David, Katie and Julia Luken has gone to Heaven while her family and friends were by her side.
She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Columbus and most recently a member of the Cypress Lake Presbyterian Church in Fort Myers, Florida. She was born in Gary, Indiana, in 1935, and spent most of her life in Columbus. She graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Medical Technology. She retired from the Columbus Regional Hospital as the Director of Hematology in 1990. In her retirement years, she enjoyed cooking, painting and serving on committees at the Forest Country Club. What made her the happiest were visits with her family, friends and walking her dog, Watson. She was always there for someone in need and loved others unconditionally. She will be missed by all.
A Celebration service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 9, at The Forest Country Club with the Reverend Dr. Clinton Cottrell presiding.
Donations may be given to the Hospice of your choice or to the American Cancer Society.
