Eric Gonzenbach, 34, of Marietta, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta.
Eric graduated from Marietta High School and was a member of the Georgia High School State Champion Track Team. Eric studied at Georgia Tech and was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. He loved the outdoors and spent his weekends camping, hiking or fishing.
Survivors include his father and mother, Steve Gonzenbach and Stephany Lyons; grandmother, Mary Gonzenbach; aunt, Debbie Weihning; uncle, Gary Gonzenbach and his wife, Joyce; uncle, Dave Gonzenbach; and six cousins.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
