Winona Irene Simmons, 87, of Hartsville, died Sunday, April 9, 2017, at Morning Breeze Retirement and Healthcare Center in Greensburg.
Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with the Rev. David Humphrey officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or Taylorsville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include children, Gary (Sonya) Simmons of Columbus and James (Rosemary) Simmons of Hartsville; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Winona is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Simmons.
