The following closings have been set today for Good Friday.
- Columbus City Hall will close at noon.
- The Columbus City Utilities Office will close at noon. Regular business hours will resume at 8 a.m. Monday. Customers having a problem with water or sewer service should call the business office at 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts.
- Bartholomew County offices and the county courthouse will close at noon.
- Bartholomew County Solid Waste Management District and the Columbus/Bartholomew Recycling Center, 720 S. Mapleton St., will be open from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. However, there will be no mulch or compost loading today.
- The Bartholomew County Landfill, 811 E. County Road 450S, will be open regular hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- All Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicle branches will be closed. Branches resume regularly scheduled business hours on Saturday. For more information on branch locations and hours, or to complete an online transaction, visit myBMV.com.
