Interstate 65 lane closing for diesel spill cleanup

SEYMOUR — The Indiana Department of Transportation will close the southbound right lane of Interstate 65 at mile marker 46.5 south of the U.S. Highway 50/Seymour exit on Tuesday while remediation crews remove soil contaminated from a recent diesel spill.

Environmental Remediation Services personnel and equipment will work along the west side shoulder of I-65 — weather permitting — between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. Motorist should be alert for workers and construction traffic at the spill site.
