After several days in the mid-50s, a spring storm bearing hail and high winds plunged temperatures into the low 30s.

1992

Parents appeared before Bartholomew Consolidated School Board, some for and some against allowing Central and Northside Middle School students to leave campus at lunchtime, while a petition signed by 311 students urging the board to not close the two campuses was presented.

1967

Residents of Fairlawn Addition met with Columbus Planning Director C. Dean Smith to speak out against Chapel Square, a proposed new housing subdivision consisting of small, less expensive homes than those in nearby Fairlawn.
