Washington Street in Columbus will not have parking between Second and Third streets today due to ongoing construction work.
The city’s engineering department said northbound and southbound traffic on Washington will be directed to travel through the southbound lane while roadwork continues.
If the work is not completed today, the no-parking order will go back in place on Thursday, city officials said.
The city is asking motorists to avoid the area if possible.
