The Bartholomew County Health Department will offer screening for total cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL (low-density lipoprotein cholesterol), HDL (high-density lipoprotein cholesterol) and hemoglobin the mornings of May 9 and 23 at 2675 Foxpointe Drive, Suite B, Columbus.
Cholesterol screenings will cost $15 and Hemoglobin is $2. Cash, debit or credit will be accepted.
The screenings are by appointment only. Appointments can be made by calling 812-379-1555, Option 1, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Participants seeking a cholesterol screening should fast 12 hours prior to their appointment, but fasting is not required for the hemoglobin screening.
