Reuter named new state 911 director

Bartholomew County 911 Emergency Operations Director Ed Reuter is resigning effective May 12 to take a new job as Indiana’s state 911 director.

Reuter, 63, a former Indiana State Police commander, made the announcement this morning at the Bartholomew County commissioners meeting. He will succeed Barry Ritter as state 911 director.
