Roman Przychodzen, 90, of Columbus, passed from this life at 5 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017, at his home.

Mr. Przychodzen retired in Connecticut from J.T. Slocomb in 1993 as a machinist where he had worked for 15 years. He was a British Air Force Veteran, a member of the Polish American Veterans Association Post #119 in Hartford, Connecticut and was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church with Father Andy Syberg officiating. Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike. A prayer service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Cyril Polish Catholic Church in Hartford, Connecticut.

Roman was born in Konarzyce, Poland, Jan. 6, 1927, to Vincent and Josephine Rus Przychodzen. He married Marjorie Jones on May 11, 1957.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years; his children, Helen (Rob) Whatley of Connecticut, Edmund (Sunita) Hodzen of Columbus, Teresa (Eddie) Seanz of Texas, Joseph (Sunnie Yun) Przychodzen of Seattle, Mark (Wanda) Hodcen of Connecticut and Michael (Nicole) Przychodzen of Seattle; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, John and Steven Przychodzen; five brothers; and two sisters.
