Organizers have canceled the early-morning events that were part of Friday morning’s United Way Day of Caring because of weather, but plan to begin projects at 9 a.m. as scheduled.
Among the projects still on for Friday include sorting donations at Sans Souci and small home repairs and maintenance, including painting, fixing wheelchair ramps and more.
The Day of Caring kickoff breakfast at East United Methodist Church Friday morning has been canceled, organizers said. However the Day of Caring fundraiser lunch is still planned for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Mill Race Center.
