Water, trail conditions force delay of Anderson Falls hike

An Anderson Falls Wildflower and Natural History Hike planned for today at the Indiana Department of Natural Resources Nature Preserve in Anderson Falls County Park has been postponed because of high water and poor trail conditions.

The hike will has been postponed a week until 10:30 a.m. May 13.

Jason Larson of the DNR will lead the moderate hike, which will include hills and a possible low-water stream crossing. The trail covers about a mile and a half of the 44-acre nature preserve, located on County Road 1140E near Hartsville and Newbern.
