Mary Kate Butzen and Tom Shaw, both of Indianapolis, announce their engagement.
Ms. Butzen is the daughter of Donna and James Butzen of Libertyville, Illinois. She is a 2009 graduate of Libertyville High School and graduated with a degree in communication from Marquette University in 2013. She is employed at Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
Mr. Shaw is the son of Suzie and Dave Shaw of Columbus. He is a 2005 graduate of Columbus North High School, a 2009 graduate of Indiana University and earned his master of business administration degree in 2016 from the University of Chicago.
The wedding will be at 3 p.m. Aug. 19 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Gurnee, Illinois.
