Edinburgh
Martha M. Kreinop Gabbard, 79, of Edinburgh, died at 2:25 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Hope.
Mrs. Gabbard was born November 3, 1937, in Bartholomew County, the daughter of John W. and Martha Kuhlman Ferguson. She married Harold K. Kreinop Sr. December 23, 1955. He preceded her in death February 17, 2005. She later married Robert E. Gabbard December 30, 2007.
Mrs. Gabbard was a retired Qualified Medical Assistant at Kindred Transitional Care & Rehabilitation. She attended The Rock and Ogilville United Methodist Church. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, was an avid bowler and enjoyed camping and traveling.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; children, Harold (Kim) Kreinop Jr. of Brown County, Pam Blair of Columbus and Greg Kreinop of Columbus; a stepson, Jerry Gabbard of Nashville, Tennessee; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Ritter of Columbus, Marjorie (Warren) Hawkins of Westport and Linda Swengel of Columbus; brothers, John Ferguson and Kenny (Ruth) Ferguson of Columbus, Phillip Ferguson of Idaho and Tommy Ferguson of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Gabbard was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Harold; a grandson, Nathaniel Kreinop; sisters, Barbara LeQuire, Betty Hurley and Mary Black; and brothers, Don, Paul and James Ferguson.
The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Brian Buterbaugh officiating.
Family and friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until service time Wednesday.
Burial will be at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Ogilville.
