Barbara Ann (Hite) Huntsman, 80, of Columbus passed away at 11:50 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017, in Missouri.
Barbara Ann was born Aug. 10, 1936, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Harold Hite and Bess Curtis. She married Robert W. Huntsman Dec. 3, 1955. He preceded her in death Aug. 14, 1996.
Barbara Ann was an LPN until she retired to be a mother. Barbara enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting and spending time with her family. Barbara is survived by her son, Robert D. (Joanne) of Barnegat, New Jersey, Randall P. (Monica) of Dexter, Missouri; grandchildren, Jessica (Jared) Dollins, Rachael, Katie, Ranelle, Samantha, Trevor, James and Joseph; great-grandchildren, Isaac, Cailee and James;and many nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; and sons, Ray L. and Roger A.
Family and friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 13, at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike. A private burial for family will be at Mount Healthy cemetery, immediately following visitation.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the donor’s choice of charity.
