LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles County authorities say an unmarked Sheriff’s Department vehicle stolen from a car dealership has been located with a suspect sleeping inside.

Deputy Ryan Rouzan says police officers in Pasadena spotted the black 2016 Dodge Challenger parked on a street before dawn Wednesday.

Rouzan says a man dozing inside the sedan was taken into custody.

He says the car did not appear to be damaged.

Sheriff’s officials said there were no weapons inside the vehicle when it was taken early Sunday in Alhambra.

Investigators said surveillance video showed a male suspect walking into the dealership’s service area and driving away in the Dodge.
