TULSA, Okla. — Authorities are investigating after a newspaper carrier found a person dead in the street while delivering the morning paper.

The Tulsa World reports (http://bit.ly/2pCPDnq ) that one of its carriers found the body at about 5:15 a.m. Thursday. Tulsa Police Sgt. Dave Walker says the person found dead was a man with a single gunshot wound to the head.

Walker says it appears the man was killed elsewhere then left in the street. He says the man did not have identification on him.

No arrests have been made.
