Vena Pearson, 69, of Columbus, passed from this life at 1:16 a.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at her home.
Vena was a member of Lowell General Baptist Church.
She retired from the Edinburgh Premium Outlets.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Glenn Poynter officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to time of service Saturday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Mrs. Pearson was born June 22, 1947, in Rose Hill, Virginia.
She married Alvin J. Pearson July 15, 1963.
Survivor include her husband of nearly 54 years, Alvin; her children, Patricia A. (Marshall) McElroy of Hope, Vickie J. (Davy) Pickett of Lakeland, Florida and Christopher J. (Lindy) Pearson of Brown County; sisters, Janice (Danny) Martin of Edinburgh, Wilma Roark of Virginia and Betty (Jack) Baily of Indianapolis; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bashie Ayers; her children, Ricky Joe and Melissa Ann Pearson; and a brother, Hubert Ayers.
