NORWALK, Conn. — The state of Connecticut is offering a $50,000 reward for information that that leads to the arrest and conviction in a fatal hit-and-run in Norwalk last year.

Police made the announcement on Thursday, the anniversary of the hit-and-run that injured one pedestrian and fatally injured 26-year-old Jaime Lane, a lifelong resident of the city.

The pedestrians were hit by a gray BMW on May 11, 2016 that then drove from the scene.

Police say the car likely sustained damaged to the front and right side. Police want information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible.
