Outpatient laboratory services at Columbus Regional Hospital will move to a new location on the hospital’s main campus, with expanded hours and streamlined services.
Beginning Monday, the outpatient lab will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays in a new space just southeast of the hospital cafeteria, across from the VIMCare Clinic.
In the new space, a digital check-in kiosk will be in the waiting room. After check-in, each patient will be escorted by a phlebotomist to a private patient room for testing.
Outpatient lab services will continue to offer a FastLab option for the next-day lab appointments, which may be scheduled between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
