BEDFORD, Mass. — Authorities say a body found near a boat ramp in Bedford is being considered a suspicious death.

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Bedford police say Boy Scouts cleaning up trash Saturday along the Concord River near the boat ramp noticed something suspicious along the embankment. When police arrived, they found the body.

The victim’s identity has not been determined. The body has been taken to the medical examiner’s office.

An investigation is continuing.
