Luken Earns Top Ruoff Spot

Keith Luken has been named the top loan originator at the local Ruoff Home Mortgage office for the month of April.

This award is based on the number of closed loans per month at each branch office of the residential mortgage lender.

Luken, who joined Ruoff in June 2016 and has been in the industry for more than 30 years, has won this placement several times.

Ruoff Home Mortgage is a residential mortgage company with branches throughout Indiana, Michigan, Arizona and Florida.

Robbins Attends Financial Advisors Conference

Eric Robbins, a certified financial planner in Columbus, was among 538 representatives from the U.S. and Canada to qualify for the Edward Jones Financial Advisor Leaders Conference.

The conference, which was conducted Wednesday through Friday, recognizes financial advisors who are among the leaders in the financial services firm.

“Qualifying for this conference shows a tremendous amount of discipline, commitment and work ethic,” said Alan Kindsvater, an Edward Jones partner responsible for Advanced Branch Training, and host of the conference.

Edward Jones provides financial services for individual investors in the U.S. and Canada. The firm’s 15,000-plus financial advisors work directly with more than seven million clients.

Kain top producer at Hallmark Home

Jason Kain, branch manager and mortgage loan originator at Hallmark Home Mortgage, has been named the top producer for April 2017 in the Columbus office.

Hallmark Home Mortgage, based in Fort Wayne, was established in 2007 by President and CEO Deborah Sturges. With 20 locations throughout Indiana, Ohio and Colorado, Hallmark Home Mortgage is committed to deliver a superior lending experience to their clients through the quality efforts of their employees.

Dunn & Associates Benefit Administrators, Inc

Dunn & Associates Benefit Administrators, Inc. of Columbus recently qualified as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE).

In order to meet the requirements to be a WBE, the company has to meet strict defining criteria, including a women-owned for profit business residing in the U.S. or its territories.

Cathy Dunn, president of Dunn & Associates, was informed of the certification by the Indiana Department of Administration Division of Supplier Diversity. The certification is valid for three years.

Dunn & Associates provides reinsurance services, life insurance contracts, life, accident and health insurance, homeowner and renter insurance, health screenings and property insurance contracts under the WBE guidelines.

Diverse Staffing opens recruiting center

Diverse Staffing Services has opened a new recruiting center in Columbus.

The additional office, located at 236 California St., was established to better serve a current client and increase the staffing company’s footprint in the city.

“We are building upon our structure and our capabilities to be sure we can seize every opportunity to support businesses in the Columbus community,” Managing Director Sheri Marr said.

Diverse Staffing Services also announced the addition of a new operation manager, Eric Joslin.

The company is headquartered in Indianapolis.
