DALLAS — Dallas police say two bystanders were shot — one of the fatally — after an argument involving a group of people erupted in gunfire.

Authorities say 26-year-old Dareon Merchant was sitting in his car Saturday in south Dallas when he was shot and killed.

A 29-year-old woman, Troylett Dorsey, was wounded in the same gunfire. Dallas television station KDFW reports (http://bit.ly/2rfdb35 ) she’s been treated at a hospital and released.

Police are looking for whoever fired the shots.
