NEWARK, N.J. — A New Jersey man has been convicted of coercing a juvenile family member to engage in sexually explicit conduct while he photographed it.
Federal prosecutors say a jury deliberated for less than three hours before finding Felix Restitullo guilty of producing child pornography and possessing child porn on Monday. Since the 41-year-old Jersey City man has a prior conviction for possessing child porn, he faces 25 to 50 years in prison when he’s sentenced June 20.
Investigators had interviewed the girl in March 2014, as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged child sexual abuse. She told them Restitullo had engaged her in sexual acts on prior occasions, which he photographed.
Investigators say a forensic examination of electronic media devices belonging to Restitullo found more than 3,000 images and more than 350 videos of child sexual abuse.
