Janet Ann Pyles Turner, 69, of North Vernon, died at 9:35 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2017, at her residence.

She is survived by her life-partner, Michael Hamilton of North Vernon; sons, Ronald E. (Pat) Cline Jr. of Salem, Oregon, Kevin T. ( Linda) Cline of North Vernon; daughters, Annette C. (Ernest Wilcox) Schmaus and Teresa L. Riley, both of North Vernon; step-son, Mark A. Hamilton of Madison; step-daughters, Gretta (Terry) Cable of Milton, Kentucky, Teresea (Thomas) Hardwick of Kent and Megan Hamilton of Louisville, Kentucky; brothers, Daryle (Betty) Pyles of Madison and Ricky (Darlene) Pyles of Albuquerque, New Mexico; sisters, Priscilla (Waylon) Huff of Scipio, Linda (Dave Heilman) Owens and Sonja (Gene) Drake, both of North Vernon and Edwena (Lee) Mathews of Cross Plains; 22 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Turner Sr.

A funeral service for Mrs. Turner will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service Thursday. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
