Paul A. “Ray” Silvers, 74, of North Vernon, died May 13, 2017, at I.U. Health Methodist in Indianapolis.
He is survived by his wife, Dora Silvers of North Vernon; sons, Tim (Rita) Horn and Tony Horn, both of North Vernon, Gary Silvers of Indianapolis and Terry (Sherry) Horn of Rushville; a daughter, Connie Silvers of Somerset, Kentucky; brother, William Silvers of Delta, Kentucky; sister, Thelma Jones of Brownsburg; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Silvers.
A funeral service for Mr. Silvers will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with Brother Ulanda Price officiating. Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of Jennings County.
