East notches victory

Columbus East pulled out a 164-166 win against Jeffersonville Wednesday on the East Nine at Otter Creek.

Thomas Ruch and Derek Alexander each shot 40 to lead the Olympians. Mark Mayhew, Adrian Adams and Ryan Singer all shot 42.

Braves edge Eagles

NASHVILLE — Parker VanNess won medalist honors with a 2-over-par 38, but Indian Creek slipped past Brown County 183-185 at Salt Creek.

Dawson Dunnuck carded a 43 for the Eagles. Tyler Poling added a 51, Ben Rygiel shot 53, Brendon Asher had a 57, Rex Watters finished with a 59, Peyton Proctor carded 64, Chris Clegg shot 66 and Emerey Brock had a 71.

Eagles topple Trinity

NASHVILLE — Emma Summers went 3 for 3 with two doubles and threw a seven-hitter to lead Brown County to a 5-3 win against Trinity Lutheran.

Allison Stogsdill went 3 for 4 for the Eagles (14-6). Aubrey Hollander went 2 for 3 with a double, and Azhia Morgan had two RBIs.

Vidalis Montanez had a double for the Cougars (11-7).
