Railroads update upcoming closings on crossings

The Louisville & Indiana Railroad and CSX Railroad have revised a schedule for closing crossings as upgrades continue to the rail line between Seymour and Indianapolis. Crews from R.J. Corman Railroad Group of Nicholasville, Kentucky, have been working to install high speed rail line through Bartholomew county since the weekend of April 22.

The tentative schedule, announced Thursday morning, still may change, said Andrea Janka, spokeswoman for Safety Services & Supply Co., Lima, Ohio, which is handling safety and traffic aspects of the project.

Tentative schedule:

Today: The railroads are closing crossings serving Kiel Brothers, Homer Arnholt and Meek
