READINGTON, N.J. — Police say a body has been pulled out of a New Jersey river but they do not consider the death suspicious.

Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns III says a body was seen floating in the Raritan River in Readington Township on Thursday. MyCentralJersey.com reports (http://mycj.co/2ryhoy4 ) that bystanders pulled out the body after they noticed the person was not breathing.

Kearns says police and his office responded to the scene and the death is under investigation.
