Program will offer tips for using social media

Small business operators wanting to reach customers through social media are invited to a free program.

The Columbus SCORE chapter, in partnership with the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce, is presenting the workshop from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Ivy Tech’s Poling Hall, 4475 Central Ave., Columbus, in Room 304.

Participants will learn from presenter Lorraine Ball:

  • Which social media platform is best for them, with tricks to create and share content that encourages action
  • How to construct a social-media advertising campaign
  • How email and social media programs work hand in hand
