Residents attend Tri Kappa convention

Tri Kappa, an Indiana-based service sorority, conducted its 62nd state convention recently at the Marriott East in Indianapolis, and several members of the Tau chapter in Columbus attended.

Laura Daily served as a delegate and Ann Miller was an alternate. Holly Psota and Jean Davis also attended.

The three-day convention included business sessions and educational workshops, plus exhibits showing the sorority’s work throughout the state.

Leadership council officers were installed: Lynn Payne, president; Chris Klus, vice president; Janet Perry, secretary; and Jenny McBride, treasurer.

The Tau chapter was established in 1906 and has 33 members. Its projects are pecan and Whipker’s flower cards sales, Bridgerama, volunteering at the Fun Run, vision screening and participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
