Maria Schwartzman and Eric Webb, both of Bloomington, announce their engagement.
Ms. Schwartzman is the daughter of Dr. Ilya and Marte Schwartzman of Columbus. She is a 2006 graduate of Columbus East High School, a 2010 graduate of DePauw University with a bachelor of arts degree in computer science and a 2013 graduate of The George Washington University School of Business with a master of science degree. She is employed as an instructor of computer science at DePauw University.
Mr. Webb is the son of Michael and Lynn Webb, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio. He is a 2005 graduate of St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, a 2009 graduate of Case Western Reserve University with two bachelor of science degrees and a 2011 graduate of the University of North Carolina with a master of science degree. He is a Ph.D. candidate in operations management and decision sciences at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
The wedding will be May 22 at the summit of Mt. Evans near Denver, Colorado. A second ceremony and reception will be June 10 in Bloomington.
