Mrs. Lucille Klosterman, 101, of Seymour, died Sunday, May 21, 2017, at the Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.

She was born on Sept. 24, 1915, in Seymour, the daughter of the late William and Louisa (Taulman) Bedel.

She was a faithful member of Peace Lutheran Church, Seymour. In her early years, she worked at Gerwin Shoe Factory. She was very blessed to be able to stay at home the majority of her life and be a homemaker.

Lucille enjoyed quilting and she made several quilts for family and friends. She always loved to interact with people and loved to her hear the words “lets go.” She was a very spunky and ready-to-go lady.

She married Roy Klosterman on Dec. 5, 1934. He passed away Jan. 18, 1992.

She is survived by her sons, Jim (Dixie) Klosterman and Danny Klosterman; grandchildren, Joey Klosterman, Becky Klosterman, Kellie (Michael) Pelston and Holly Howard; and great-grandchildren, Landon Owens, Levi Pelston and Madison Howard.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Alice Bedel; infant twin daughters, Mary Ann and Phyllis Ann Klosterman; and infant twin sons, Tommy and John Klosterman.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 25 at Voss and Sons Funeral Service with the Rev. Scott Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Thursday at Voss & Sons.
