Craig R. Owens, 64, of Columbus, died at 1:10 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Mr. Owens owned and operated his own landscaping company, Owens Lawnscaping. He was an avid coin collector and Donald Trump supporter. Craig was the life of the party, very outgoing and never met a stranger as he loved people. He also coached little league baseball and was a huge Chicago Cubs fan. His joking and teasing nature will be missed by those who knew him. Craig was a member of First United Methodist Church for several years. He looked forward to traveling to Daytona Beach, Florida, every year to visit family.
Calling will be from 4 until 6 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church with a memorial service to follow with the Rev. Howard Boles officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church.
