The Los Angeles-based Groovaloos dance troupe will do more than entertain at the Columbus Area Arts Council’s Live On the Plaza June 16 at the Bartholomew County Library plaza. Before the weekend, dance team members will conduct a freestyle movement program for young people at Bartholomew County Youth Services Center “to inspire and encourage these kids to direct their energy in a positive way through the power of urban dance,” said Tami Sharp, the council’s program director.
Nobody covers Columbus, Indiana and the surrounding areas like The Republic.
